exploitant

A exploitant is responsible for allocating and monitoring services and goods. He coordinates and monitors the tours for the vehicle fleet. At the same time, he collects information for billing and quality assurance of services rendered.
In contrast to the planner, a exploitant does not have the task of planning tours. In forwarding companies, however, the tasks of the exploitant and planner are often combined and referred to as the exploitant. This therefore leads to different delineations of a dispatcher’s area of responsibility in different companies.
